Job description

Airfarm is on a mission to reshape the food value chain and build Europe’s largest agribusiness services network! It was born in the fields, built by innovators and grows by farm success. We offer a platform for Farmers, agriculture consultants, journalists and bloggers to better interact with each other. Farmers can consume news, collaborate and build trusted relationships with other farmers and their business partners. Eventually, we will add other value added services such as: purchase pooling and financing.


We are a passionate and experienced founding team with previous startup experience and roots at SAP and Goldman Sachs. Airfarm is backed by one of Europe's leading early stage Venture Capital firms for Food/AgTech. We have recently launched our product and are now building the core team to help grow Airfarm into Europe's leading agribusiness services network!


As an Entrepreneur in Residence you will join the initial core team and immediately take over responsibility for building Airfarm. You will directly be working with our CEO and COO and enjoy a steep learning curve across strategic projects (e.g. Customer Success, Growth & Business Development, Operations, Finance). You can expect to interact with all stakeholders of Airfarm on a regular basis. This role offers great project variety and prepares you for taking over a leading position within in the organization. This is an unique opportunity to join a thriving startup as a young professional and build your own career in the startup ecosystem!

Start date: ASAP, duration: unlimited contract, with top performance, the role will evolve into a leading position within the organization.

Job requirements

  • Outstanding university degree, Master's preferred, in Business or Economics
  • First practical experience in a fast-paced environment (e.g. technology startup, consulting, venture capital, investment banking) 
  • Previous experience in a "people oriented" role (e.g. Sales, Customer Success) is a strong plus
  • Ability to quickly evaluate ideas, business models and go-to-market strategies and translate theory into practice
  • Proficient in MS Office and Google Sheets with an ability to break down and assess unstructured problems
  • Fluent in German and English
